England’s Prima Ballerina, 1964

The little girl stands with hands clasped in ecstasy, watching the lovely ballet dancer… her mother, Belinda Wright, one of Britain’s easing ballerinas. And Mum is giving 23-month-old Annabel her first lesson – on stage at Manchester Opera House. Annabel, whose father is ballet star Jelko Yuresha, tried to copy Mum’s dainty steps. And the other dancers had their first glimpse of a possible ballerina – of the 1980’s. 20th July 1964.
