Hamilton Bermuda with Fred Olsen of Norway

… at the tiller of International one-design (K5) the last race of a series between a Bermuda and a Norwegian team gets under way in Bermuda’s great sound on Oct.3rd. He is followed closely by his teammate, Ingar Dobloug in K3. The Bermudas took advantage of their superior knowledge of local weather and water conditions to take the series in three straight races. Other members of the norwegian team were Søren Wiede, captain, Egil Rød og Eirik Lorentzen, crew member. It was the first time that norwegians, who sailed in boats borrowed from their hosts, ever raced in Bermuda.
